My daughters father is denying her. We had the test done last week so were still waiting on the results. (he was the only guy i was with so he is the father) He basicly could care less about her at this point. She was in the hospital last week and he refused to see her. He even through the pictures i gave him out the car window.
His fiance had a talk with him and told him how unfair he was being and if he wanted to make things work with her he will have to do right by my daughter. He kept saying " know i know" So she called me wed and asked if they could have the baby today. I hesitantly said ok. She said he really didnt want to hold her. He wasnt mean to her but he really didnt have anything to do with her. She was the one who took her around all day and showed her off.
She said its gonna take him awhile to get used to it but then on the other hand she said he gets attached to babys real quick.
Should i let her keep going over or should i wait until daddy has test results in hand?

is he still very young? Sometimes it takes a while for men to grow up and realize the important things in life. Some never do. Do your part and allow visitation if you are comfortable with it. I however wouldnt be comfortable handing off my baby to some woman while the father could careless. (but you seem to have good communication with her, so only you can make that decision) Even if he has the results I doubt he will change much... it may make him feel guilty if hes capable of such feelings. Im sure he knows the baby is his and he just doesnt care. Hopefully time will change him, but if it doesnt you will be ok, and your daughter can very well be much better off with out a father that makes her feel like crap. Sometimes its better to have no father at all. But theres still hope for you to meet a great guy that wants to adopt her as his own. Dont put all your eggs in a deadbeats basket. Good luck. Who is this guy? No, keep the baby at home with you if he is not happy to be around her. Please, read the news. People who don't like babies do some nasty things. I'm glad the fiance is good with her, but, if he is the father then he is the one who should be making the
effort not her. So, if you need his help get it from the courts , in the form of money. I think he feels he made a mistake and is not ready to be a father yet. Don't take any chances with your child.

I think he'll continue being a dick.
I'm sorry, but being a "sperm donor" won't make a male man enough to step up and be a real father. Once he has the test results in hand, make sure he pays child support, but don't force a relationship. I think that would make her feel more rejected. One good parent is better for a child than one good parent and a total louse.

No, do not let her have anything to do with the father. He is not only in denial, he is in a terrible state of mind and your precious baby doesn't deserve to deal with that. For now, just have fun being a single parent with a beautiful baby daughter. If your ex decides it's time to spend time with his child, then great. But you putting the baby into their hands can only cause problems. The last thing I would do if I were you would be to put her in the hands of my ex who doesn't care about her anyway.

As long as his fiance or someone else is there taking good care of her, I think you should encourage them to spend time together. Sometimes it takes some time for guys to get used to the idea and to get comfortable around the baby too. If she's there taking care of the baby and encouraging him to get to know her, and you feel comfortable that she's watching your baby, there's really nothing to lose, and there's a lot to be gained by your daughter having a relationship with her father.

Just leave that men alone. He has no interest in her and it is cruel to the child to force her into the life of someone who clearly doesn't want her. When the results come in, go after him for childsupport. If he can help make a child the least he can do is be financially responsible. You are doing your best and that is all that matters. You're a great mom!! Hang in there.

Let the test speak for you. If she's his and he continues to act a fool, take his butt to court. The way he treats her is critical to her life, but if he keeps up the foolishness she will find out when she grows up and will resent him. I am in a very similar situation.

What do you need him for anyway? Get the court to order him to pay for half of her bills. Then go on with your life and her life. It is better for her to be with someone who loves her than have to deal with someone who doesnt care about her. You will be enough for her - children just need one person who believes in them. But otherwise, find someone who loves you and loves her - that will be a better daddy for her than this guy.

Not all parents love their children. You are doing the right thing making sure he has a chance to see if he can love her. If he can't he still needs to pay child support. It will be his loss if he can't love his daughter.

because you did say that he was the only that you were with so he absoulutely the father of your child and it is really wrong for him be deniying you and your child!!!
