my brother was trying to shoo away skunks by trowing rocks and one of the skunks got hit in the head would it die or would it live injured if it is about to die how many days would it die in and should i get rid of it right away ?

Just a rock? no way! Just don't try to kill skunks, they smell bad but thats it.
I guess it just depends how big the rock is, and how hard it was thrown.

Depends on how big the rock was and how hard it hit the skunks head. In the future, tell your brother to leave skunks and other wildlife alone.

depends how hard ans where, it could either die instantly, die over the next couple of hours, or the skunk will just live with brain damage

The skunks are in their natural enviroment I would suspect...it's not nice to hurt animals and would suggest you don't bother them, they are not trying to hurt you and prolly have lil families there close by. Live and let live :)

Why don't you and your brother ask the game warden, and/or the SPCA any questions you may have about killing skunks?
