We broke up in early 2005. He has called like this on and off since then. Calls, rings once and hangs up. No voice mail, etc. I have talked to him 2 years ago and that didn't help the problem.

I need some guys to weigh in on this...Thanks!!!

well maybe its because he has not gotten over you.and plus he is being immature by calling you and hanging up.

There are two main reasons why he does this and both are good signs of immaturity on his part. He isn't over you after all of this time and could be stalking you trying to keep tabs on you. If you really think about it, it is rather a shame that he has nothing better to do with his time but to play childish games like calling you and then hanging up.

He most likely wants to call to hear your voice..but has no clue what to say...so he hangs up and calls again..He must really want to talk to you but is afraid you wont take him back. I would call him and ask him why he keeps doing that. Dont be mean or anything, just sound like u are curious..be nice about it and he'll open up more! :D

Well, the say I see it is there are a few reasons. He could just be a jerk and trying to play minds games with you, he means well but doesn't know what to say, or he could have phone issues. My advice would be to call him, make small talk, and see if you cna't figure out why he calls.

He's obsessed with you. That's kind of creepy. Be careful. He obviously still wants you since it seems like he's fixated on you by calling you all the time. Be cautious. He's a creep.

It seems that he wants to maintain some sort of contact with you. Allthough it's not something that is gonna last. If it gets to be a problem then you may want to change your phone number.

Sounds like he still has feelings for you and is having a hard time expressing them to you.

he calls when he is thinking about you. if it's gone on this long it's definitely not healthy. i think the best thing you could do would be block his number.
