That woman you see in the yard is named Virgin Mary our Our Lady of Guadalupe and it's Jesus' mother who appeared to Juan Diego (now a Saint) in a small hill named El Tepeyac in 1551.
She is the beloved mother of the Americas :)

No, that's called a statue. But it *is* supposed to be a depiction of Mary, the mother of Jesus. No one really knows what she looked like or what she wore, though.
