I have looked over several of your questions and additional comments to those .. based upon that I can draw a "general conclusion" of where you may stand.

Nevertheless of what your personal beliefs may be, one thing still comes to my mind -- "The only dumb/stupid question is the one you didn't ask" Why? because you didn't ask it.

We learn through research, living/experience, asking and answering questions - further delving into what we seek to know more about.

Although my personal faith may differ from yours, and yes I am a firm believer in my faith, everyone should ask questions. That's one way in which we learn more. No matter what the cause, faith, or religion.

I think, that the answer you are seeking [to this particular qustion] is one in which you already know the answer. :)

Neither is an idiot, though I generally have a problem with the term "blind faith". Beyond being an excellent Clapton band, I find it kind of self-contradictory. Faith has to be "in" something, and you can't have faith unless you have some reason to believe it's worth having faith in the particular thing you're interested in.

Knowing the Bible doesn't result in "blind faith", it results in "informed faith".

the question is incongruous. idiot is a relative judgment. people that are knowledgeable never cease to ask questions, even religious people. yet, be assured that a religious person and one who follows blindly are not two mutually exclusive terms.

Idiots are those, believers or not, that are not able to realize that each one of us have a brain and we all are free to use it our own way, and no matter how we use our brain, either to believe or not, it's an individual problem of each and every one of us and it's no one else's business!!
