Don't get hard contact lenses because it bothers a lot your eyes; almost as if you have an eye lush into your eye. it really hurts. It is better if you choose soft contact lenses. In any Optical place is different the prices. You can go and check to 2 or more places. Good Luck

You can get contacts with no insurance by paying for them yourself instead of having the insurance company pay. The cost of rigid lenses depends upon the type that you need and the country where you live. Call your eye doctor and ask.

Sure, you just have to foot the bill... hard contacts vary in price but a set will cost you about $100+ at wal-mart. Is there a reason you want hard lenses though? Kinda becoming an out-dated technology, you may want to consider a softlens, and a pair of backup glasses...
