Someone can claim they're "Christian", or Buddhist, etc.
But in the end, it doesn't matter. I know some Christians will disagree with me there, but this is why they are wrong...
We are all equal, sin or no sin, Devil or Devil, God or No God.
We are ALL human beings, and we ALL make mistakes.
And OF COURSE people will claim something they do not obey in the proper way that they should...its human nature to make mistakes...and one that says that you cannot be forgiven by ANYONE (Including the Christian God) is lieing to you. We are all capable of second chances, if not multiple chances...but if you would have done right the first time then you wouldn't have to worry about a 2nd chance!
Long story short...Everyone is Equal..
We are ALL, and we are everything...and to disregard that as false is to not know who you are, or what the universe is all about.

a true Christian would attempt to never do these things. However, the flesh is weak even if the Spirit is strong. That is what is so great about being a true Christian. You get the best of both Worlds. First, you usually don't have the desire to do any of the above mentioned, but, if you get weak in the flesh and do one of them, then you are forgiven when bring the sin before Jesus in prayer. Yes, there are true Christians. Just remember that Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven! :) Have a great day and thanks for the question.

Wow, there are some good answers on here!! I would just like to add that Satan never gives up. As long as we are in this fleshy body we cannot attain perfection, though it's good to strive for it. Yes, we sin and we are forgiven, but that does not give us a license to do whatever pops in our mind in a weak moment. Someone may say they would have to give
up too much they like to do to be a Christian, but when you make that decision to accept Christ He helps your 'want to' to change, and the more you grow in the faith the better you want to be. A big problem with not trying to do your best is that it gives excuses to people who say "I don't go to church because there are too many hypocrites there", which the devil loves to hear. So we should always remember that we may be the only Bible someone 'reads' and strive to be a good witness for Christ.

Nobody is perfect. A true Christian makes mistakes too, we are just forgiven when we repent. We then try to not repeat the same sin again.

All sins are definitely not equal. There are deadly sins as 1 John tells us.

Someone who follows Christ, does their best the keep the commandments, and when they mess up, they repent and try to do better next time. Following Christ does not require perfection. Following Christ is what perfects you.

Yes. But by working towards a perfection, we get results not perfect, but so close it doesn't matter.
