How do you like these answers so far? You didn't really get an answer to that specific question, did you? Anyway, I can't speak about churches because I'm not a Christian and I can't speak about Islam because I'm not very familiar with its tenets, but I can tell you that in Judaism we believe that every moral and righteous person has a place in the World to Come.

You could not be more wrong! Judaism doesn't, and never has, taught that our way is the only way.

“To be a Jew is to be commanded to take actions because they are right, not for material gain or comfort. Had Abraham wanted tranquility and prosperity, he would have carried on his father’s idol business. To be a Jew is to open one’s tent on all four sides so that any stranger in need can enter from every direction. To be a Jew is to believe that the world can be redeemed. To be a Jew is to be carried by the current of the ancient Jewish river that keeps on flowing.” Arthur Hertzberg.

Our Bible is a book of life, not a guide to an afterlife.

All the righteous of the nations have a share in the afterlife -- including atheists!

Because the bible says there is only one church and one truth and demands that no one adds to or take away from it. So by saying all denominational beliefs are biblical is to say the bible is wrong and they want to be the one church the bible talks about.

You will find some who claim they do not believe they are the only ones, but take the Southern baptist for example. They will say it does not matter especially if they are talking to someone who goes to a church that does say there is only one, but they then turn around and say if you do not accept the once saved always saved doctrine and believe that a Christian can fall from grace you are going to hell.

If a Church or Religion claims THEIR WAY is the only way to get to Heaven I would stay away from them because they are wrong. Jesus Christ is the only way. I go to a Baptist Church but unlike most Baptist I would never say the Baptis Way is the only way. It just isn't Biblical. However, I do say through Jesus Christ is the only way.

if you ask the Lord to open your heart and to give you the guidance, and you truly desire to have the knowledge of what your reading, you will know if you are in the right place. I over the years , have visited quite a few religions, but up until now, I couldnt understand a lick of what I read and in some way, I was confused about one thing or another...I know now that the Lord is not at all confusing . I understand when i read and I know Im in the right place

In Christianity almost every church agrees that Jesus is a way to get to heaven. They only disagree about what is allowed what isn't allowed to do.

If people believe in some things religion teaches them then it means they think it is true. This means another religion cannot be equially true, it can only be false. There can be only one truth, not multiple truths.

Conclusion is that there is either only one religion that is true, or none of them are true

I dont know which religion says that, but mine doesnt say that. Some people in my particular religion will go to hell but others in different religions will go to heaven. Its about being a righteous person and following God.

Because they believe it's true, and I know it's true, especially in Christianity, which has some of the best support behind it of any religion, and actually makes some sense. Jesus Christ is the only way to God, he came down to earth to die for the sins of all people, and if we accept that we need him and accept his gift to pay for our sins, we'll have eternal life. It is a free gift, one that we cannot earn but is given to use through grace. That is the ultimate truth of this life.

Dawn,
Each of us will be required to answer for what we have/have not done at the Judgment. Each of us will kneel to Christ and we will be in submission to HIM. The Church members who are wrong are certainly in trouble but it is within each of us to read, study, and obey HIS WORD each and every day of our lives. I hope that you and I are both true Christians in HIS EYES! Have a wonderful evening and a glorious LORD's DAY.
Thanks,
Eds

Karen,
The Baptists, Methodists, Catholics, Church of Christ, Jehovah's Witness, Pentecostals, and a host of others each seem to find different things from the same writing. That writing is GOD's HOLY Inspired WORD. You seem to have missed this somehow, haven't you???

Christianity is not a religion. Jesus is the way of life and the way to heaven. Jesus is for everyone, and heaven is offered to everyone. But the way is only one, Jesus.

You do not go to heaven through religion nor a church.
