Christians believe that mankind was created specifically to have a relationship with God, but that sin separates all men from God (Romans 5:12, Romans 3:23). Christianity teaches that Jesus Christ walked this earth, fully God, and yet fully man (Philippians 2:6-11), and died on the cross. Christians believe that after His death on the cross, Christ was buried, He rose again, and now lives at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for the believers forever (Hebrews 7:25). Christianity proclaims that Jesus’ death on the cross was sufficient to completely pay the sin debt owed by all men and this is what restores the broken relationship between God and man (Hebrews 9:11-14, Hebrews 10:10, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8).
In order to be saved, one must simply place his faith entirely in the finished work of Christ on the cross. If someone believes that Christ died in his own place and paid the price of his own sins, and rose again, then that person is saved. There is nothing that anyone can do to earn salvation. Nobody can be “good enough” to please God on his or her own, because all of us are sinners (Isaiah 64:6-7, Isaiah 53:6). Secondly, there is nothing more to be done, because Christ has done all the work! When He was on the cross, Jesus said, “It is finished” (John 19:30).

Jesus PB UH not died for our sins. It is clearly mentioned in the Quran that he was lifted to heaven and not at all crucified. First thing the death of prophet Jesus never arises. Each person is accountable to his own sins.

It means Jesus' death paid our "debt" because of our sin. there is no easy way or hard way, there is only one way. it is believing that Jesus Christ died for us to take away our sins, so we can go to heaven when we die. it is a gift, you can either accept it or reject it. it is your choice.
it also doesn't mean that when we accept Jesus that we will not sin, it means we can be forgiven when we do, we must ask for it though, we must confess that we did sin and ask for forgiveness. it doesn't mean that we can do whatever we want to and then be forgiven and then go do the same thing again, if we are truly sorry, then we will not want to do the same things as if we were not saved, you will still be tempted, but God can help you overcome that temptation.

He came and died to fulfilled the scripture so that we could have the chance, if we choose, to join Him in Heaven. It is easy. Nothing difficult about living a good life. Acts 2:38 says how.

It all depends on how you look at the question, many people says different answer to this question, but all answer make sense in their context. to make it a simple as possible this would be the answer, in the old testament it is affirmed that the sin of a parent will be inherited by the children, so we are all heir of the original sin of Adam. Christ sacrificed himself to make up for that sin so that through him we may be free of the bondage of sin.
if you have any more question on this you could read the relevant works of Origen, Augustine, Anselm, Thomas Aquinas, Martin Luther, Jean Calvin and many others

It is the only way to heaven...."If you do not believe that I am whom I claim to be,you will die in your sin and where I am going, you may not come"
"No one comes to the Father, but by me". There is one mediator between God and man...Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Jesus paid the price for our debt to God,in that we have all sinned and have come short of the Glory of God. The sinless blood of Jesus that was shed on calvary's cross, was the sacrifice demanded by God...Through faith by grace in this sacrifice and with a repentent heart,we have access to the fullness of God's mercy and forgiveness..
Yes,it is an easy way to heaven but the cost was terrible for He that paid our way.

No it is atonement for sins. Under Jewish law the shepherd would sacrifice the best of his sheep to atone for his sins. In the Christian system, the pure shepherd died for the inequities of his sheep - the Church.
I would not call it an "easy way to heaven", that is merely disrespecting the grace we have been shown.

- "easy".......no it's far from easy
- A person has to truly accept Jesus as their Lord & Savior
- Then follow His teachings
- The words are easy, but working everyday to practice the teachings is the hard part.
- This is because our nature is one of selfishness, personal satisfaction, and sin.
JOHN 14;15
15 ¶ If ye love me, keep my commandments.
------------------------------------------
LUKE 9:23-26
23 ¶ And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Mt. 10.38 · 14.27
24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. Mt. 10.39 · 17.33 · Joh. 12.25
25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

He took on the punishment for our sins. He went to Hell, so we wouldn't have to, but because Jesus was without sin Hell could not hold Him.
