what do you think is meant by the statement in the bible
"do not depict anything, whether from this earth nor from heaven. do not worship them".
Is it okay then to have a TV since it is a depictation of the earth and of imagination and sometimes of heaven?
Is it okay to make photographs?
Is it okay to hang pictures or posters on the wall?

come on... of course those things are all ok,, used for entertainment/decoration. i know that we are not supposed to worship idols..statues..pictures..ect. so we dont bow down before these things, pray to them, or acknowledge them as our Creator..(2nd commandment)He is in everything..no need to capacitate Him into an image. dont become legalistic or else you will imprison yourself. we are free to have our own identities, He doesn't desire people to conform to a robotic-like existance!!! :)

If you believe in JC as a god, you can't be Jewish. There just is no way. No rabbi will convert you and there is no reason for you to. Our religion isn't something you'd just "like" to do. "Becoming Jewish means that most of what you were taught about spirituality until now will be irrelevant, and in many cases wrong. You must drop the religious beliefs taught you by whatever other religion(s) you once followed or read about. People sometimes ask me, "Can I convert to Judaism and still believe in Jesus?" The answer is no. This is not something negotiable in Judaism. Jewish doctrine about G-d is core and inviolate. Non-Jewish beliefs about G-d invalidate a conversion (and Jesus is a prime example of a non-Jewish belief about G-d, no matter what anyone tells you). So this could be a major change for anyone contemplating conversion to Judaism. If this is difficult for you, then you should not be considering conversion at all." Also, there is no such thing as a Xtian Jew. There simply isn't--anyone who tells you otherwise knows nothing about Judaism. There is nothing wrong with being a Xtian. The reason you are a Xtian is because you believe in JC. He was Jewish because he didn't believe in himself as a god--obviously, times have changed. The best way to be true to your beliefs is to stay exactly where you are religiously. JC understood that one cannot worship another man and still be Jewish, that is why he remained a Jew his entire life and did not claim to be a god.

Yes it is okay to have those images. We are not suppose to worship any images we create. As so many religions have done in the past. And for example, when the people made the golden calf to worship while Moses was away getting the Ten Commandments from God.

Yes, it is ok to make all sorts of artwork, from pictures to statues to photographs, and beyond.
This verse does not act as a blanket condemnation of artwork of any and all kinds. If you will recall, even in the making of the Tabernacle, Holy of Holies, and Ark of the covenant, artwork of various kinds were COMMISSIONED by God. There were carvings and castings of various living things (specifically plants and animals and angels), intricate weavings, special metalworks, and carpentry.
What is forbidden is the WORSHIP of the object made, not the making of the object.

I think it means the latter part about worshipping them. God gave man the ideas to invent the TV and cameras, posters, etc. I think you just have to be careful what you watch on TV, see in pics, etc. I think people worship idols still, which is crazy! ie "Mary, mother of God" praying to a statue! Now that is worshipping something other than God and Jesus Christ who died for our sins!

The best way to see this is to read all of Romans chapter one. He's talking about making objects of worship, not art.

What it means is these things are not a problem as long as you don't worship them.

Since I've never seen that before, I can't give an answer. Give a chapter and verse and let me see it in it's context.
