God does exist. Of course there is no tangible proof that I can give you. Pray fervently and ask God to reveal himself to you. We all go through doubts in our lives. God understands.
What I believe is that there is a God, He is our father and we, as believers will go to heaven when our physical bodies die.

Why can it not be that you just cease to be?
You have a rational argument for this, or is it just that you do not want to think that might happen?
If I take a painting, it has a complex organization that is, to us at least, greater than just the atoms and molecules of the paint and canvas. If I burn that painting those atoms and molecules are still here but that complex organization has gone forever.
The same is true for you and me. The atoms and molecules that make up our bodies stay around, but the configuration and activity in the brain that makes you you and me me is lost.
This is what we can clearly see happening. If you have some evidence to contradict this then there are a lot of people very interested in it. If all you have i wishful thinking then I am afraid that that counts for nothing in this universe.
The good news is that just like the people who saw the painting remember it, we are remembered by those who survive us. What we do and what we say is the only legacy that we leave behind. What do you want your legacy to be?

When I die it'll be exactly like it was for me before I was born.
Don't feel bad for question whether or not there is a god. You're letting fear cloud your mind.
"Shake off all the fears of servile prejudices, under which weak minds are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call on her tribunal for every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear." [Thomas Jefferson, letter to Peter Carr, Aug. 10, 1787]
If there is to be a heaven that is something we must strive for here on Earth.
If the Bible is proof that god exists, then ever holy book is proof that different gods exist, and every comic book is proof super-heroes exist.
I don't believe there is a god because there is no evidence. That's all that should need to be said. The reasons why you don't believe in the thousands of other gods you don't believe in - Once you understand why you don't believe in those you'll understand why I don't believe in yours.
What do I believe? That's too vague. I believe in all kinds of things..all of which have evidence in their favor.

God fails to be real for a few good reasons, the first being, since the unverifiable Old Testament, he has never shown himself to a large group of people.
Heaven is itself a concept, have you ever seen a soul, or do you have any proof of a soul that can survive outside a body?
The ideas of God and heaven are created to give a cushy feeling to one of the only challenging mysteries humans have left. Death, and how it affects us.
I for one believe that death is a ceasing to be, since God does not exist, and Jesus was a con artist.

After I die, I cease to be. That's it.
"Do we just vanish from everything? That can't be. There has to be a heavan."
I don't know why you'd say that. Just because you WANT there to be an afterlife and just because you WANT to go there after you die doesn't mean your desires have anything to do with objective reality.
"The bible is proof that God exists, right?"
No, the Bible is proof that the Bible exists. That's all. The Bible proves God just as much as Lord of the Rings proves hobbits, elves and talking trees.

There is no god. When you die, you're dead, the end. If you're buried, you decompose, no matter how much "embalming" is done to you.
I'm going to leave instructions that I be cremated or buried "green", in a biodegradable coffin, so I can at least contribute to the growth of some flowers and trees and give the worms something to eat for a while.

I look at the world around me, at the universe, and at the complexity of the human psyche. And it's hard to imagine that God, in whatever form DOESN'T exist. On the other hand, I don't think I will ever understand it/him/her. So why bother trying to live my life according to a religion based around people's approximations of what God is?
I just get on with things & enjoy life. While being curious about the afterlife, accurate speculation is impossible. So I like to hope it'll sort itself out when I get to it.

Wow... *sigh* I don't know how many times I've answered this question... I will go into the dirt... and God isn't real because it is illogical that he can exist...
Is it five'o'clock yet?
ADDED: Jedi Master... 4:20 sounds even better...

I don't believe God exists. When I die, or when you or anyone else dies, they just die. The rest of the world goes on.
