How do you know if someone is staring at you if you are near other people or if you are near a window or a poster. How do you know if they are staring at you or if they are staring at something or someone around you?

Try changing position/moving!
If their eyes follow YOU, then they ARE staring at you!
If they don't, they were probably staring at someone/something else.

noone stares at a poster or out a window
if you think someones staring at you they are a person just kinda knows those things
you can also be a very good listener to see if they're talikin bout you, cause if they are they staring

This is a common mistake that people make Margie. There is really no way to be certain. Try moving around a bit, if his eyes track you or shift in your direction, he's probably looking at you.I've actually had this happen with my boyfriend. I thought Adam was looking at me while we were in the gym, but he wasn't! It was funny, because we are in a relationship...but if he were a stranger, I would have been mortified!

Move to a new location and see if they follow you. Some people flirt with their eyes and they want you to stare back.

yawn. Wait a couple seconds and look to see if he is yawning as well. A yawn is caught very easily by watching someone else, so if he was staring out you chances are he caught it. I've tried this trick a couple of times and it's worked.

That's an interesting question.
It's like, there can be many people in a room, but you get this feeling that someone is staring at you. I don't know how we get those feelings or how we know they're looking at us.

i wondered the same about a guy i liked months ago. i would see from the corner of my eye that he was looking. but then he would smile at me when i looked at him, then look away, ect. i guess you have to catch them in the act! it is hard to tell. if u like the person, go talk to them. if they get a little nervous when u approach, maybe they like u.
