I understand that along with diet and exercise I can obtain any figure I want, but I would only like specifics for flattening a tummy. I am 5'6" and weigh 130, I'm simply interested in toning. The rest of my body is lean and muscular except for the slight pudge on the lower part of my tummy. I'm assuming I have quite a bit of muscle underneath the fat, but I want to see it. Jeans squeeze and make me look flabby there and I can't take it. Help all you can.

the only fat burning exercise is cardio (running, cycling, jogging, elliptical, swimming, rope jumping etc) - burns fat all over your body - we cant naturally spot reduce body fat -do it 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat. dont do the same thing all over every day - keep your body guessing and you will lose more fat.

First, buy bigger jeans. I don't know why so many girls think they look skinnier by wearing jeans too tight or small. There's nothing attractive about that fat roll hanging over and it makes you look more of a fatass because all your fat is smooshed together with no bagginess at all in the jeans. It's like squeezing a water balloon with your hand and the water smooshing out to the sides and making the top blow up. LOL

No such thing as "toning" or "spot reducing".

Fat is Fat. You need to do cardio to burn it regardless of where it is. Even with weight training, crunches, situps, etc.. It would build the muscle up but it won't burn that flabby roll over it.

You are right, with diet and exercise you can obtain any figure you want, if you can still grab a fold of fat on your tummy you can still stand to lose some. The trick is losing fat not muscle, I'd check out www.realnutrition.co.nz. You'll only need 1 or 3 appointments by the sounds and they are experts in fatloss.

1) Drink lot's of water.
2) Drink lot's of green tea.
3) Run every morning.
4)Eat fruits and vegetables.
5) Do not eat junk food.

Be sure you drink lot's of water to keep you feeling full. And therefore you eat less. Alot of the time people are actually thirsty but they think they are hungry, so they eat food, instead of just drinking some water. Drinking green tea also helps to boost your metabloism. It is said that if you drink 3 cups of green tea a day, you will burn about 70 extra calories. Cardio is the best way to lose weight, since spot reducing is impossible, it burns fat very quickly all over your body. eating fruits and vegetables is also a wise idea, because they tend to be low in calories. Junk food is bad for you, puts weight on you and makes you feel unhealthy. Avoid it for a week, but treat yourself at the end of a week, you don't want to totally deprive yourself of junk food, or else you won't be ble to stick to you diet. Use junk food as a reward system. if you eat well for a week, but a chocolate bar! I hope these 5 tips will help you lose weight Sweetheart, they helped me!! Goodluck! :)

Try one size up on your jeans. I know some people freak out at the notion, but those people generally have muffintops that are disturbing to look at. Start there and then get liposuction if you want to target a specific area.

Tight jeans will squeeze everyone's stomach. And if you are 5'6'' and 130 pounds you shouldn't shed any you're fine.
