Simple: Call your landline service provider and ask for "call forwarding". There are several types of call forwarding but my favorite is called: REMOTE CALL FORWARDING. Remote call forwarding does NOT require that you be at HOME to forward your home number to another number. All you have to do is call a special number that the phone company will give you, from ANY phone, cellphone etc and it will prompt you to input your special access code that the phone company gives you and then you simply punch in the phone number you want your home phone to be forwarded to and it will be forwarded until you remove it. Now, when you do this from HOME, you don't have to put in your special access code and it's a quicker process but sometimes you might be somewhere you didn't expect to be and need to forward your home phone. If you can only do it from home (which is the way regular call forwarding works) then you cannot forward your home phone number. That's why it is so nice to have the remote call forwarding so you can simply dial the access number and input your code and then forward your home phone...and UNforward it.
SO, with remote call forwarding, you can either forward your calls while you're still at home OR you can do it from ANY other number, no matter what it is. This is one of the best features offered by Bell.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Yes, you have to pay for it. It is called (amazingly enough) Call Forwarding. Call your phone company and ask. I don't know if it rings at your house first, I think it does. Until the popularity of cell phones, one of the real nuisances was (I believe) that you could only change the forwarding location from home - so you couldn't have it follow you to several locations after you left the house.

Selective call forwarding.

We sell it at verizon or it is included in some packages. Price varies by area and you use either *72 or 72# then the number the calls should go to. Then *73 or 73# will deactivate. This will work for our callforwarding.

For residential customers you need call forwarding service from your phone company.

For business customers you may need call forwarding service from your phone company and if you have a call forwarding capable business phone system you may be able to do it via the business phone system.
