my best friend is completely jelouse of my relationship with my boyfriend... she is constantly saying that i put her on the back burner and i never spend time with her. my boyfriend lives 3 hrs away, while she is 20 min away.. when i go visit him she makes smart remarks, even when i talk to him on the phone.. i don't want to loose her friendship but it's almost like she is trying to make me choose between her or my man.. any advice?

it's not about your friend or your boyfriend it's about you
she wouldn't feel jealous if you made her feel that she's important to you and that you can't live without her becouse she's your best friend.
i think that you spend your sleepover nights talking to her about him. don't give her the chance to feel jealouse by ignoring her and spend most of your time talking about him.believe me she don't like that even if she didn't complain to you . you should take care of her feelings
and there's something else,
that distances you talked about is a reason for making her feel more jealouse.
she'll feel that you don't like her becouse she'll be forever available at your beck and call . ready to listen to your problems becouse she lives next to you.
and she will feel that you love him more than her becouse you'll miss him not her,,,, etc
you can solve all that mass around you just by a deep thinking in your methode of treating her

i have been where your at but i have been the best friend and felt on the back burner. its not fun. you shouldnt have to pick between the two.i myself ended my friendship with my x friend because i told her how i felt bout her ignoring me and that since she met her guy and she acted as if she could care less. if she cant keep from making snide remarks then just end it. if shes any kind of freind then she will get over being mad at you and things will be fine

Keep them both and treat them equal. Tell your friend to stay out of your relationship. The key 2 that is to never go to her for relationship advice. Talk about that stuff with older people. If they are married that's even better.

shes jealous and its just that simple. she IS bacially forcing u to choose, something a real friend would never do. sorry to say but she aint your friend...and why doesnt she have a boyfriend of her own anyway,I'd watch my back if i were u cause she may try and sabatoge it,or, maybe she has the hots for him herself, truth is stranger than fiction! I'd watch that one , shes trouble & not your friend either.
