Well anything to keep it moist. However, it is best to clean with tea tree oil and moisturize with a product with no alcohol. Don't listen to everything the tattoo artist tells you as they are trying to sell you more products. I have many, many tattoos and I have used everything from Vaseline to olive oil to keep it moist. Make sure yo keep it moist for at least 2 week though.

DO NOT USE LOTION OF ANY KIND. This could cause the ink to leach out. Use bacitracin. This will keep it moist, so it doesn't itch to bad when it starts to scab over, and it protects it from infection. And I should know. I have 10 tats myself, not to mention I give them also.
