Typically, a tear tattoo (done by the eye) is a signifier that you have killed someone. At my job, it typically costs an unsupervised shower with your significant other, and a pack of smokes.

Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it. If you don't know this already, alot of times, a tear drop signifies that you killed someone. There are much better tattoos you can get to memorialize a family member. Get his name on your arm or leg or something. You will regret a tattoo on your face. Especially a tear. If you ever want a job that requires more skill than McDonald's, you will have a hard time. THEY may not even hire you! To answer your question though....about 50 bucks, give or take, depending on the shop.
I'm sorry for your uncle's passing.

sorry if this is a touchy subject but most people assume when you get one of those that YOU killed someone, honest. Anyways, it would be less than $40, some places do have a set amount you have to pay no matter how small the tat is(for example I have a quarter sized tat, they had to charge me $40 though so they wouldnt be spending all that time to make like the $15 that the tattoo should have been

a tear tattoo would cost about $50 ....
the meaning of a tear is that you killed some one... so did you kill your uncle?? It a prison tattoo with a specific meaning. If you were to go to prison and the inmates saw it and found out that you had not killed someone.. they would well kill you. You have to be careful with tattoo meanings.
Also ... when you think about it who will employ you if you have a tattoo on your face... I have tattoos but non on the face.
I am obviously not anti tattoo but you really need to think of a more appropriate memorial to your uncle.... maybe... think of somthing he liked and have it on your arm... etc... Just a thought....

it all depends on the tattoo artist and i would think it will be a min cost of at lest £10 to cover the cost of the needle and ink and then the labor so your looking about £20 plus but if it's for your uncle then it will be worth every £

10 to 20 bucs. but know what you're getting cuz the tear is symbolic and has meaning. Often, it signifies that an individual has killed another person, particularly while in prison; at other times, it means that a family member, friend, or fellow gang member has died or been killed. Other times, it can stand for the amount of years one has been in prison. so, it might be wise to think about what you're putting on your face or wherever you're planning on putting it.

My best friend has a tear on her hand and it looks very nice and she has never been to prison or killed anyone. :) I think that it cost her around $50, but it really depends on your area and the tattoo shop. Good luck!

Like in the one in that movie Cry Baby, staring johnny Depp? dude you could do that with a needle and some ink for free, it doesnt take much artistic ability. if a tattoo artist did it, they would proabably just charge you for matterials, because it could realisticaly be compleated in about 30 seconds

a tear?
I would suggest something other than that. My opinion though. Unless you have done time, I think your better off with his name or something. Maybe even a necklace or piece of jewelery.
