All kittens are born with their eyes closed. Most should start opening their eyes about 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 weeks. Do not worry if their eyes take a little while longer or shorter to open their eyes this is a natural part of kitten life and mother nature will take care of this,

Eyes open between 9-12 days. Feed them kitten milk every few hours as much as they will eat. They should have nice fat round tummies after eating. You must stimulate to pee and poop with a cotton ball and warm water after every feeding. They also must have a heat source. If they are in a box, place a heating pad set on LOW under 1/2 of the box--this way they can move off if too warm or crawl on if too cool. At 3 weeks old you can begin to offer solids--kitten milk soaked on dry or canned food so it's like oatmeal. At 2 weeks begin a deworming schedule--ask your vet as hookworm/roundworm dewormers are over the counter. At 7-8 weeks old, a trip to the vet for a check up, stool check, and first vacs are in order.

They may not open their eyes for sometime i believe it's about 2 weeks before they open their eyes. Call your local vet and they should be able to tell you when kittens start to open their eyes.

Sounds like your doing a wonderful job with the kittens and it's wonderful to know that you were willing to care for them when their mom couldn't. Would love to see picture of these cutties...I had a boss who had found kittens onhis way out to work. He brought them in and i found a no kill rescues togive them to.

Again just give your local vet a call and any questions you have they should be able to answer the questions.

the babies should open their eyes after ten days. so chill a little time and problem solved. if they are ok then they are just very young.
