What DVD, HD DVD, Blu Ray or even video game do you think is best used as demo material when showing off what that +$3,000 dollar home theater setup can do? I mean when someone wants you to show them what all this money went in to, you need software thats really gonna blow their minds right?!

Hi.there.If it cost that much money it should not have to rely on anything special to show it off.It should faithfully reproduce what is fed into it. Anything would look and sound good if the software was recorded with the latest technology. Also the the same is true for a movie with a bad print and sound. The equipment should not improve it .It should look and sound as bad as it is in the software. This is the mark of a top quality system.Faithful reproduction of the software whether good or bad.

Blu Ray and HD-DVD both are the best quality, so I'd start there. Here are threads ranking the releasing in terms of quality:

Pertaining to music, you might want to find a song with many attributes. Excellent bass, crisp highs, and a beautiful mid-range sound. You'll obviously want to find a very percussive song to show off all of these attributes.
