What do you think of people who make a point of blocking other users because they hold different beliefs?

Question

"You cannot view this question at this time" means someone has singled you out for blocking. Any thoughts on the type of person who does this?

I think there could be a report button agenda going on there. If it happens to me I assume I need to block them in return ... because I'm not much of a reporter.

I actually saw a christian woman post a huge WARNING to all other christians that she had posted questions to lure in witches just so she could block us from infiltrating their minds with evil.

Obviously some people should be blocked.. those who harass others or who stalk them .. just because someone believes differently isn't enough reason to get blocked by me.
To each his/her own though.. if that's how people want to behave here, it just reduces their chances of actually learning something new.

I noticed a few fundies, who oddly I don't even recall answering any of their questions up and blocked me. No big loss, I just block them as well in return. Makes me think they are report mongers.

If fact one person who has multiple puppets which they use to point game with tipped me off to even more of their puppets by blocking me with them. Lol

I was blocking people because I wrongly believed it prevented them from emailing you, but boy was I ever wrong. all it does is keep them from accessing questions and answers in your profile.

I do believe many people who block a Lot of people are serial reporters, but I think they block people simply because they want to hear what they want to hear and believe what they want to believe and are threatened by open minds and those of us who believe differently than they do.

I tried to answer a question about do you believe in hell and why and was blocked. That tells me that because I do not say, yes there is a hell and all the atheists, pagans, and gays are going there, that I was blocked.

One woman posted a question that was not a question telling all Christians to block us pagans and Wiccans because we have evil beliefs. I tried to answer, but was blocked.LOL

Cowards. Plain and simple. I can understanding blocking someone who insults you all the time; but to block someone solely for their religious opinion is just an indication of them being a coward.

It's confusing. I've been blocked by people whose questions I found interesting when I answered them, and by some people who I was totally surprised I was blocked by them.... I guess they didn't like my name or something. :) I'm not a creepy-acting person or anything.

Some people really do have a tattletale, schoolyard, omg did you hear what so and so said, mentality.... It bothers me a bit still, if you can't tell.

There are legitimate reasons to block people, but that isn't one of them. It makes no sense why someone would even be on this site if they don't like to read different viewpoints. This is an open site; what do people expect?

I think that only talking to people that have the same belief as you is kind of hypocritical.If you believe in something you should be trying to tell others not persuade,aggravate,or harass them,but voice your opinion nicely to try to help others.

I never noticed that. It would be a very sad thing. I don't want to be blocked for supporting a certain band etc. I want to be blocked for harassing that person.

Someone who I had never even noticed on here blocked me. Bugged me for a while. I mean, who would have a problem with the Luck Dragon??!

I only block people that have personaly contacted me repeatedly, after requests not too.
