Charianna 9.5 y/o: completely out of a stroller!
Danielle 8 y/o: completely out of stroller also!
Scarlett 6 y/o: completely out except 4 naps!
Anabella 4 y/o twin: same as Scarlett
Ansley 4 y/o twin: same as Anabella & Scarlet
Gabriella 2 y/o: still in stroller!
Kingston 10 months twin: still in stroller!
Kelsey Marie 10 months twin: still in stroller
Those are my kids names and ages. I push around a quad-stroller around right now! But I'm due to have a baby soon (about 2-3 months). I'm usually REALLY early. So I want to have as many out of diapers and strollers as possible! Is it wrong to let my daughters Scarlett and the twins still ride in strollers? They don't always ride in them, just when they get tired.

i don't baby them. it's just when we have to go all day, especially during the summer, i can't let them wander off and lay down on the floor and sleep.

I would have to say yes and no. Personally if you are wanting them out of diapers and strollers as soon as possible then yes it is wrong for at least Scarlett, Anabella and Ansley to ride even if it is during naps. They are way old enough to walk on their own and stay awake with out naps for most of the day. However Gabriella, Kingston and Kelsey Marie should still get to ride. If you are worried about the 6 and 4 year old children running off during shopping trips and things make the older ones help out by budding them up. If anything please please please get the 6 year old out of the stroller or she is going to get some big time teasing in school if anyone ever does she her in it.

The only ones that should still be in a stroller would be the two year old and the twins since they are still too young to walk well on their own. The others should always be walking everywhere. So yes it is wrong to let the older kids still ride in strollers.

It's not wrong, but I bet it's a nightmare!! Does your 6y/o still nap through the day? I would definately try get the older three out of the stroller before the baby is born, or you are gonna have to have a custom made stroller!!!

A] wow, nine kids in less than 10 years! God Bless!
B] any kid riding in a stroller is easier to keep track of than one that's loose
C] if they are tired and you aren't ready to leave, let them nap
D] I would let them ride if they want to, up til 4, and nap after that til 6
E] tell Miss Scarlet newborns have priority, and advance her to 'big girl status' - extra privilege and extra chore - before baby is born.
Good luck, and healthy baby!

That's your call! Whatever is easier for you. We've "only" got four kids, and it seemed we had a stroller with us till our youngest was at least three or four. If the stroller didn't have a kid in it, we put stuff on it!

wow um that's a lot of kids... a lot. usually I would say most of them should be outta the stroller and walkin with you, but with that many kids I would def. consider that an exception to the rule.. I hope none of them are on pacifers still too, that drives me absolutely nuts.

nah its not wrong, especially with so many, people will understand, but if its more helpful for you, you could have her walk more often, but the twins are def still young enough to be in a stroller

Not at all. That's a lot of kids to handle and little ones tire easily. If you insist they walk you'll have cranky kids on your hands, running in all directions. Enjoy the control while you have it and give them lots of opportunities to run around in the yard or a fenced playground.
