First off I believe in Jesus.
Second I don't need anyone sticking there nose in to my business.

It says in the Bible it is a person's right to choose.
I also don't need to hear about it every two seconds from a bunch of people who think there better than everyone else.

Let's face it Christian's have very high attitude's about how great they think they are.
Or better yet how great they think everyone else should think they are.

There's no love for people up in your face, On TV trying to tell you how to live.
People get sick of it every two seconds.
You can't change people, Only God can.

No one is 100% right, I'm sorry.
Paul wrote in the bible, "I sin daily in word thought and deed".

If I wanted to talk to you about boxing and how YOU needed to take it up in order to feel better, half of my reason for doing this would be to hold my superior knowledge of the subject matter over you. Hence, most "innocent" witnessing is about your egos.

Also, I grew up in the church and was forced to witness, so with many children and young people it is not even their choice. I get mad when I see young people herded into that crap in an effort to try and please their parents or whoever.

But to answer your question, the benefits of boxing or any type of exercise can be scientifically proven, and the benefits of religion cannot be. We get tired of explaining this. Thats why rational people get mad at you.

That is not MY truth, it is THEIRS, and the insult is that they assume I am so weak and gullible, and that my life is so horrible that I'll fall for anything they say to me.

My life is so much better without religion in it, and I do not need further instruction from someone that has not lived long enough to understand things.

Besides, if one must "witness" ad nauseum in order to get into Heaven, then they don't care about ME, they only care for themselves.

They are telling the truth as they know it not as the other person may understand truth.

The other person's truth may be completely different and against what the other believes to be true.

This can be offensive when other people claim that their truth is applicable to everyone else.

Some people do not like to be told what they should/should not believe in. For some people they reject religion completely because they may had a bad experience, seen only the negatives of religion or because they are atheists. Because of this, they don't want to hear what other people have to say. The second reason could be is that people feel awkward talking about religion.

I don't get mad if the person is witnessing in a respectful way. I can listen politely and respectfully decline. If the person is pushy, rude, or judgmental about it, that is when I get put off. People shouldn't assume all atheists don't know about Jesus. Many of us are ex Christians so we know the whole story already.

If they cared about me and had respect for me they would stop when I say "No thank you I have my own beliefs". Those that stop there I have no problem with at all, those that don't will get back the same amount of respect they've just shown me. Respect is a two way street after all.

To non believers: Christians were sent here to work for the Lord as his servants and spread His word as He was doing here on earth and his prophets. We are only working for Him and sharing His word and hoping others see the right path to Him. We don't want anyone to perish in hell. We care about all and pray that you will find the way.

I understand however, other people have other beliefs and do not want to hear you persuade them to "your side". This is very relevent to Mormons, just becuase you have some news to share with the world don't you dare enter my house without my permission and don't try to persuade peoples children either. I believe even Jesus told people to respect others beliefs, so do it.

Do they now?

Sorry, but I know Christians who care, and they certainly don't show it by preaching at me against my wishes.

I guess that might be because the Christians I know are intelligent enough to realize that kind of behavior will just serve to push me away.
