Christianity easily.

The best part of 2000 years (only stopped in the last 100 yrs really) of persecution and murder-sometimes mass murder-of Pagans who refused to convert.

Occasional mass murder of Jews-for example in Europe during the great plague in the middle ages when Christians blamed Jews for spreading the disease.

Mass murder of Muslims-the crusades.

Mass murder of indigenous non-Christian (therefore to the Christians minds Pagan) peoples in Africa and Asia,Australia and New Zealand and the Americas and most other places.

And now of course Bush claims God is behind the war on terror so I suppose the dead Muslim civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan can be added to that tally.

Im soooo going to go with Christians on this one. Why?

During the Burning Times - Christians got a wild hair up their butts to prove a point and throw every "witch" either on a stake or to hang every witch they could find.

Joan of Arc got caught in this. Thats just the inquisitions alone.

Not counting the thousands of muslims that they killed during the Holy Crusades.

Right or Wrong sects of Christianity come into this. Christianity as a whole. And then even it was the Catholics.

Yeah muslims bomb the snot out of people - but still the running total of that today alone - for us casualities isn't in the 10's of thousands like it was back then.

Your going to get so many different answers on this from so many different religions. Good luck.

I think it is the Christians in their hay day of amassing riches, burning the witches and heretics at the stake for thinking different, wiping out the indigenous people of the Americas etc..... nobody knows how many millions that perished at the hands of those perverts.

What did they gain? unimaginable wealth and the good live in guilded palaces.

Read the very revealing books of Tony Bushby...... They are a true eye-opener about the true nature of the church.

The Crucifixion of Truth; The secret in the Bible; The Bible Fraud.

Pope Leo X (1513-1521)...... said: "How well we know what a profitable superstition this fable of Christ has been for us"

There was more than one Pope who said a similar thing.

I have no Idea. But it's certainly not Islam
Muslims ruled Spain for 800 years. Go to spain now and you will hardly find a muslim there.majority are christians. If Islam was spread by the sword you would not find any christian there.
Muslims also ruled India for 500 years and majority of Indians are Hindus.

Christianity wins this one hands down!
More person have been killed in the name of Christ and the spreading of the gospels on all of the continents and in all parts of the globe than those killed involving any other religion.
Literally whole civilizations have been wiped out, entire cultures destroyed.
Hitler, who was raised as a Roman Catholic thought he was continuing the work of the Church from the time of the Inquesitions when he orchastrated the murder of six million Jews.
Think of how many people died during the Crusades (two hundred years of fun brought to you by the Roman Catholic church), the christianization of pagan Europe, the religious wars after the Protestant Reformation, the colonization of the world by the Spanish and the Portugese and, the English colonization of India, Africa and Australia (bringing faith and civilization to those heathens!)
And now, we have the war given to us by George W. Bush, which he referred to as a "crusade".
Don't you wish that God would finally get tired of being used in this manner and do something to stop the insanity that is being perpetuated in HIs name?
Every war is fought for power, whether that be politcal or material. The Catholic church got rich. Then the Protestants got their share. The governments that supported them in their efforts got rich, too. The "military-industrial comlex" that Ike warned us about got rich in Viet Nam and is getting richer in Iraq. Greed in the name of God.

No religion has ever murdered anyone. Murder is committed by people. They find all kinds of excuses to do it, and sometimes they drag religion into it. That doesn't mean you should blame religion for it.

Very good question, you have to look at the entire legnth of all religions to figure that one out. I mean think about it, each religion is around for a certain period of time and you have to look at what every person in history who ever killed for the sake of religion. That is innumerable, in truth depending on the length that the religion has been around and the vast amount of people who have been killed, for the sake of religion, i would have to say it is either Roman Catholic, or Christianity.

No religion has ever murdered anyone. Some lunatics have murdered people and made it look like it's religion that's doing it.

It would have to be the Catholic religion for monetarily backing Hitler and to this day, Hitler has never been excommunicated by the Catholics. How sad that millions upon millions of Jewish and other people who helped them had to be murdered because no one had the guts including the Catholics to stand up to such a tyrant like Hitler! Who does that??

Secondly, I'd have to say the Islamic religion for we all see what they do on any given day. They just don't stop and yesterday tried to blow up cars filled gasoline, shrapnel and bomb-making materials for no good reason in London. Just this morning they tried to race a JEEP SUV thru the Gaslow Airport in Scotland! Why??? Why Why Why??? One of the culprits got himself burned up pretty badly and they found a bomb device on his person. Guess he got what he tried to inflict on innocent people. They hi-jacked American airplanes and flew three of them into American made structures killing thousands, and another crashed in Pennsylvania before it could make it to the white house.

Thirdly, I'd have to say "FALSE CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS", not the true religion, Jehovah's Witnesses because witnesses do not participate in wars, political matters, gambling, murders, rapes, reviling, homosexuality; they hate anything that is detestable to Jehovah God, the false religions like Bush. Bush claims to pray to God about the war in Iraq right now but if he only knew that his prayers fall on deaf ears because God does not approve of man taking on war in his own hands. Why? Because obviously as we have seen throughout history, mankind has never brought true peace to the world and will never bring true peace.

All these ones praying to win the war or warring in the name of religion is such blasphemy to Jehovah God and soon all the false religions leaders and worldly governments (and anyone mingling in them) will be destroyed for good. Sadly, at Armageddon about 90% of the world's population will be destroyed for one reason or another, but it all boils down to rebellious lifestyles, wars, shedding of blood needlessly, crime, liars, revilers, fornicators, and many more acts of detestable conduct that Jehovah hates.

The religions listed above are in that order 1) Catholics 2) Muslims/Islamic 3) FALSE Christianity

I would guess Christianity: the crusades, Jews, witches, heretics, Muslims, native peoples in South America and Mexico, Catholics killing Protestants, Protestants killing Catholics, pagans, the various 'sinners' of this, that, and the other. Yes, definitely Christians. Busy folks, eh? Hardly any time left for all that 'love' they claim to have.
