I think nostril piercings closely resemble a booger in the nose. As for navel piercings, I can take or leave them. It doesn't make anyone more or less attractive. It just makes them seem more worldly, jaded, and somewhat cheap.

At 11 you are not finished growing yet. As you grow your skin changes. If you were to get a navel piercing now, by the time you were 17 or 18, the jewelry would be half way up your belly. Not a great idea. As for the nostril, 11 isn't a great time to make that decision. You will end up with a small scar on your nostril if you keep it in long enough for it to properly heal into a permanent piercing. You may not be so keen on that when you're 16 or even 20. I'd say wait. Not because it's "stupid" as these retards are saying. (Piercings weren't FOR the masses when people started getting them in the US. It was just a lot of Punk Rockers and very few Goths.) But because 11 isn't the age to making decisions about permanently altering your body. Also, at 11, you may not be able to get pierced legally as there are age restrictions in every state. In mine I was never allowed to pierce anyone under 14 and they had to have a parent sign a release form for that. And if it's not a professional, don't let them pierce you. Trust me, with all of the botched piercings I've seen over the years, done at the hands of "a friend", that have resulted in permanent disfiguration...no. Just pay for it when your 14 if you have it done at all.

I have both my nose and navel pierced. But I am a 22 year old woman and got them both after I turned 21. I would wait until you're older, just stick with your ears for now. And for the people saying they're ugly, don't be so judgemental. Just because people who are pierced somewhere other than their ears says nothing about them as a person. I am neither sleazy or cheap, not even close.

I think nose piercings are gorgeous! As for navel ones, I personally think they are stupid and a waste of money. I mean, people will never see it unless you were a top which shows your belly button.

Instead of getting the navel piercing (which noone will see) you might as well get some more ear piercings or something noticeable.

However, before you get any peircing make sure you can take care of it properly so it doesn't get infected and what not.

At 11 I wouldn't get a belly button piercing yet. Nose is more likely a better option for your age. You are still growing and as you grow your skin stretches, mostly along muscles so your belly ring may migrate out or get really uncomfortable. Wait on that until about 17 so that you are nearly done growing. If you do get your nose pierced go to a piercing/tattoo shop. Never get anything done with a gun, needle done piercings heal faster and are less likely to have problems. I had my nose pierced and it tickled to sneeze, haha. Feel free to email me if you want to. Be sure to clean it right if you get anything.Ears are your best bet until about 16. I got my nose done on my 18th birthday.

The nose is nice, it jus messes with you if you have allergies. And it doesnt hurt too much when you get it pierced, and sometimes it doesnt look very nice on people. Try putting a diamond sticker on the spot you want it on and walk around with it for a day to see if you like how it looks. The naval hurts really bad when they put the earring in, i was screaming. It also hurts when it gets stuck to your shirt and that does happen frequently when you first get it pierced. But why get a piercing if you dont wanna show it off. Maybe you should start off with the nose then the naval later on in life when you can really show it off, say high school. GOODLUCK WITH IT

Nose piercings look like zits or boogers 99% of the time. Very unattractive on nearly ANYONE.

Naval piercings can be attractive on women, but not so much on really young girls. I think you should wait a few more years before having it done. Maybe at 16 if you still want it, but that's still pushing it. I would advise you to wait until you're 18 before getting any body piercings.

If you feel you NEED to get another one right away, go for the 2nd piercing on the lobe.

I think you're pretty young to be getting BOTH of these piercings. But I think you could deffinetly get the naval piercing. Like you said, no one can really see it, and I know a lot of people who got their navals pierced at this age. The nose piercing however, I think you should wait on. It is noticable and you could end up regretting it. Also, you'll learn that a lot of adults may look down to you and think you're like a bad kidd or something. soo do whatever you want this is just my opinion. But either way, I'm sure you'll look great =]
