Charianna 9.5 y/o: completely out of a stroller!
Danielle 8 y/o: completely out of stroller also!
Scarlett 6 y/o: completely out except 4 naps!
Anabella 4 y/o twin: same as Scarlett
Ansley 4 y/o twin: same as Anabella & Scarlet
Gabriella 2 y/o: still in stroller!
Kingston 10 months twin: still in stroller!
Kelsey Marie 10 months twin: still in stroller
Those are my kids names and ages. I push around a quad-stroller around right now! But I'm due to have a baby soon (about 2-3 months). I'm usually REALLY early. Anyway, what size stroller do I need, because by the time I have this next baby the twins will only be 1 y/o. And Gabriella might still sit in there sometimes. Do you think I need a sextuplet stroller, stick with the quad, or just buy a single stroller and make the other ones walk! (i feel evil!) Thanks.

Ok, here's the deal:

Scarlett, Anabella and Ansley need to be walking and they should have their naps at home only. Gabriella is still young enough to be in the stroller except for short walks. If you are just going on a short trip, then she can excercise her little legs. And if she's a quick one, get a child's leash. I know that may sound cruel to have a child on a leash, but trust me -- they are very useful. (I used to have one for my daughter who loved to get away from me when she was out of her stroller.)

I have three kids. My oldest was in a stroller until he was almost 4 years old. But that was because he was an only child, I was lazy and I wanted to get to where I was going fast. My second was in the stroller until she was three. But that was because the back wheel on the twin tandem stroller I had for her and her younger sister couldn't handle the weight of the two of them. (She was a big girl.) My littlest was in a stroller until she was almost three. Her umbrella stroller broke and she was pulled around town in a wagon until she was 4. (I didn't own a car.)

My belief is that any child age 4 and older should be completely out of the stroller. The only exception is if they literally have a hard time walking due to a handicap.

Now, since you have a 9.5 year-old, I would suggest you look into buying a child's wagon and a single stroller for the baby. You can pull the younger twins and Gabriella in the wagon and Charianna can push the stroller when you go on your walks. You can find Radio Flyer wagons at ToysRUs.com. Radio Flyer has some of the best and biggest wagons for kids and their plastic wagons are durable and easy to clean. Plus, they're great for carting groceries when you are able to get to the store by yourself.

My oldest stopped at about 3yrs old and my younger one at 2 and half(almost 3). Since you do have older children to help you
out, you could keep your quad stroller you currently have for the twin boys that will be one and for the 2yr old. Your most likely going to have to get a separate stroller for the new baby. You can have your daughters help push them when you are out and about or I'm sure your husband will help.

Wow you have alot of kids! And two sets of twins? Did you have fertility treatments of something?! N-E wayz, it's funny b/c I bought this really nice stroller and never even used it. I think I may have used it twice. And usually the only time I would put my daughter in her stroller would be if we went to the mall and once when we took her to the zoo. She's 3 now and we usually let her walk or just hold her.

I would stick with the quad. Any bigger and it's hard to manuever. You know they have compact double strollers now with toddler seats, if you'll have someone to help you push the strollers along.
...Wow. Did you give birth to all your children or are some adopted? That's quite a clan you have there.

THEY SHOULD STOP RIDING IN A STROLLER AT THE AGE OF 4.

IF YOU KEEP LETTING THEM RIDE IN A STROLLER THEY DON'T WANT TO WALK JUST RIDE OR GET PICKED UP.

GOOD LUCK

They now make stollers where kids can stand in front of you for a ride. I am not sure where you can get one but I have seen it on ebay. I think they are ride-a-long strollers.
