They should have already. We have babied them too much with this stay the course nonsense. We eliminated the threat, Saddam Hussein, and now its time for the Iraqis to organize their society on their terms.

The problem of Iraq has become too much complicated. Now military take over will not solve the problems including fight or die. Iraq needed good and influential leadership and administrator. one who can run the country smoothly. One who can control and solve the problems of Iraq people. The economical conditions due to war has gone bad to worst. Now the people are fad up with the internal and external pressures and disturbances. They do not know what to do under such critical juncture. First of all they must be made economically stronger.

We are a short ways from technology that will enable us to control the situation without killing. It is up to the Government to authorize this new technology. Perhaps they are keeping it a secret for now and not releasing it at this time. But that being said, if they won't release the new tech, guess we need to bail pretty soon and head for Darfur!

We don't employ soldiers to just collect welfare and sit on the beach. So either fight some more battles or head for the employment lines. No free checks. Soldiers are made for demployment. If they don't like it, we should make robotic soldiers and pay companies to run them to defend our country. That way, nobody gets hurt, right? No pay either though. Do we have enough jobs to support all these soldiers if we lay them off?

The Iraqi Army is already providing security for over 7-% of Iraq. The Iraqi Army is also conducting major combat operations independently of the US.

Bet you did not know this.

The fact of the matter is that the iraqi Army is in the process of standing up. They have progressed faster and farther than Germany or Japan did after World War II - but it seems that people do not listen to anything that comes out of Iraq that is 'good news.'

No, I think it's either time for the U.S. Military to either start kicking some serious *** (cause no one can argue we are fighting with all of our might there.), and fight to win. Or we get the hell out, let are soldiers rest and get ready to go back in a few years when all hell has broken loose, and things are 100 times worse

Iraq needs to take control
The dems need to understand you can't run from every war.
the Jihadist don't need to think they won.
If the US were to get in a major war that may not be an option.

Hey mike golf, you forgot to state that the majority of that 7% is in the Kurdish region and in the deserts in the South (were no one lives). Not being negative, just an observation.

Yes. American soldiers, and all the others, don't need to be walking around getting shot for nothing but to make money for Cheney and Halliburton stockholders and their unethical, pseudo-Christian businessmen pals.

The Iraqi population needs to wakeup and stomp any remaining Al Qaeda and anyone else causing trouble in their country. They are too confused thru Islam to trust any non-Muslim, trouble is they are being killed by Muslims.

Let them behead each other, but they will settle it. We don't need to be an excuse for there primitive tribal violence.

I really feel like we should, BUT, I dont want us to just get up and leave now because I dont want my hard worked 16 months to mean nothing all of a sudden. I sweat, bled and cried in that country doing what i was told to do. Lost good men, and they dont deserve to just say "hey you died for nothing". In their namesakes, lets finish it, but lets quit dragging it on soo long
