I'm 16, and I'm the last one out of my entire group of friends without a boyfriend. It's very annoying, because I have to miss out on group dates and stuff. I'm not particularly flirtatious, but I do want to have a boyfriend. I don't like any guys in particular, but I like to keep my options open. I'm short (5,0) and possibly a little fat (103 pounds) and I work out a TON (which might intimidate a guy.. I don't know). What can I change about myself to be more appealing to guys?

I am sure some guy will ask you out soon. If not why don't you try asking out a guy? Some guys prefer it that way.

Based upon what you've posted, nothing is actually wrong with you. However, you might want to change how you look at this situation. At your age you should really be more focused on school work and perhaps trying to earn a scholarship to get into college. I speak as an adult who made the mistake of not taking the exact same advice that I now give you. If I had studied harder in high school rather than worried about what girls thought of me, I would likely have already earned my doctorate degree rather than the associates degree that I was just awarded on the 23rd of June.

Don't worry about the boys. Worry about school work. The boys will come around in time. Besides, there are guys out there that like women who are both strong and smart. Oh, keep up on the exercise, you are not fat.

Your pictures reveal that you are a very beautiful girl. I am a 58 year old Grandfather, three children and five grands. I had a few so-called dates in High School, nothing serious until I returned from Duty in Vietnam and started college. There I meet the girl I would marry during the very first month. Been to gather for 35 plus years through thick and thin.

Don't be in a hurry, and please don't surrender anything. Though some think it is vitally important to have a boyfriend, that is all it is, usually short termed - must be why they referred to it as Puppy Love back in my generation. Second, if you are desperate and the young man feels it, he may be scared off. Put your main effort in your school work and into that of your family, faith etc. Those areas will pay off in big benefits later on.

You really don't have to change anything about yourself. You're not a bad looking girl at all. And 103 pounds is not fat at all. I weigh 210 pounds. Now THAT is fat. And if I can get a girlfriend looking the way I do, then I'm positive that you can get a boyfriend. And don't be in such a rush. You just have to find the right guy and just start a conversation with them and see where it goes from there

You answered your own question. You don't like anyone in particular. So why should that stop you from inviting a guy friend on a group date? At 16, there's nothing wrong with that. What to change? How should I know? Do you talk too much? Too little?

There's nothing at all wrong with your weight, your build or your bust; you're very pretty. But at five feet tall, you may have to learn to ask guys--you know, work harder to be seen.

You're a lovely girl and not one bit fat. Maybe it's your lack of confidence that is keeping you from having a boyfriend. When girls are constantly saying things like "Oh, I'm so fat" or "Do you really think I'm pretty" guys get a little annoyed. Also, flirt a little! Just like it makes you feel good when a guy notices you, they like it, too! Next time you see a cute boy, smile at him, say, "Hi!" and see what happens!

Best wishes for summer romance!

love do not .. and i repeat do not ... ever change yourself for someone else...
you are not fat at 103 pounds ,, your pic is quite cute.. working out is an attribute not a flaw ,and if a guy is intimidated by that then he is probably to weak for you any way .. give yourself time cutie do not rush into a relationship just because your friends are in one .. eventually you will come across that someone and that makes the sparks fly until then keep your chin up and be who you are
best of luck love

guys at times do not really care about physical attributes solely when it comes to having a boyfriend or relationship, but basically the fault might be from your side . besides , do you have what it takes to attract guys in your verbal approach towards them. be self confidence you are a beautiful girl . work on your attitude . Thousands of guys are ready to date you.
