As I Chistian I am so confused why someone would call themselfs a Christian, but they have no clue what a Christian is.... They might believe in a god, but they do not believe in God, or his son Jesus Christ.... This frustrates me so much... I am sick of nonbelievers giving Christians a bad reputation!!!! If you are a Christian ACT LIKE IT!!!! And if you are not saved, stop saying you are!!!!!!!

This was really more of a question to make you lookl at yourself to make sure you are living the life yuo are called to live... Yes, I live my life the way the bible says to live, I am not perfect.. I fall everyday, but people arround me can tell there is something diffrent with me.... the diffrence is that I have Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior!!!! And I follow the bible..... You can say that the bible is open to interpatation sp* but if you really sit down and studdy the bible, and studdy the colture when the bible was written, you will have all of the answers..... I had no intenchion of comming accross judgemental, or hurtful.. I am just trying to be honest.... (plus I just has a baby so my hormones are ALL out of wack... LOL)

I am a Christian. As to the fellow who asks what a Christian is like, the answer is in the Bible. Christ and the apostles in Acts set the example of how we are to live our life.

And where does the bible give YOU the authority to decide who is a christian and who isn't?
how is this acting like Christ?
How many times have you read the bible cover to cover?
Why are you on here on the Sabbath day when you are ordered to do no work? Seems you need to re-read Matthew 7 and take that beam out of your eye before you try to take the gleam out of your brother's

It is possible to be a Christian and not have to 100% follow everything the Bible says to be saved. I asked a very similar question a few days ago and got some interesting answers of my own, I suggest reading it.

I am a true born again Christian I belive the bible and I am ready to give an answer to any question to prove my Faith.
"Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame. "1 Corinthians 15:33-35
If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth,(born-Again) then there is no sacrifice for sins is left. Hebrews 10:25-27
1 John 3:6
No one who lives in Christ keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
1 John 3:9
No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
I say to them: Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you." John 5:14 -- 1 Corinthians 15:33-35
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ (Say that they follow Christ's teaching), he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! What counts is showing it! What counts is being that new creation, everyday of your life and in every situation.
2 Corinthians 5:16-18
1 John 3:6
"No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him."

All Christians sin. No one is perfect. I do agree with you though, if a person believes in a general higher power, they should label themselves "Spiritual"--not specifically Christian.
Yes, I know what you mean. I have a non-blood relative that told me not to say "darn" "shoot" or "gosh" when I was five, because it's unchristian, but then she committed adultery, lied, divorced, and had premarital relations all over again...yet she claimed to be Christian?

The cults out there, Jehovahs and Mormons, want to attract as many people as possible. They are not going to say, "Hey join my cult", they are going to go with a mainstream thought to attract as many folks who do not read their Bibles as possible. It's a money making scheme. It has nothing to do with Christianity. You will know during the end times who is and just who aint. Remember, Christ said, there are a lot of false teachers and wolves in sheeps clothing.

One of the major teachings of Christianity is to not judge others. It is an extremely un-Christian thing to do. If you're busy working on your own Christian development, you won't have time to worry about other people and what they do.

Well I'm a new Christian. Does that bother you? I just recently decided to accept Jesus as my savior. You're just gonna have to go with the flow.
