Would u dump ur bf if he never spent $ on u but he's being very generous 2 himself?

I'm sure he has NO any kinds of financial difficulties & he's NOT saving for big. He's a wealthy person and he buys all the luxury stuffs for himself but nothing for me. He did nothing 2 please me & he's selfish. If you were I, would you dump him?

The fact that you asked this question demonstrates that he's right NOT to buy things for you. So what if he's wealthy and buys luxury stuff for himself...he's SINGLE. It is his money and most normal men, especially wealthy ones, want a woman that they don't have to BUY!

I do assume since you said you were "dating" that he pays for at least half of these dates (all of them if you're financially challenged). If he is paying for dates and you're just talking about big stuff, then shame on you.

Now if you're spending a pile of money on him, I'd say dump him, he's a user. But if you're both spending your own money to support your own needs and wants, that's EXACTLY how it should be between people that are DATING! Dating isn't marriage.

On a related note, it could be that he's been taught strict etiquette. Many people view extravagant gifts as "inappropriate" between people that are only "dating". One site I found recommended that a boyfriend of less than six months spend no more than $50 on a birthday gift! I remember reading one book that said the first jewlery a man should ever give a woman is an engagement ring so if he isn't buying you expensive trinkets, he may have read the same book!

When you have a B/F or G/F its for love or for the gifts that he gives to you?
Answer:Its for love, yea its nice that ur B/F or G/F give you things but its not an obligation, so i think it wold be unfair to brake up with him just because he dosent give you gifts

I WOULD ASK HIM HOW YOU RELATIONSHIP MEANS TO HIM AND THAT HE SHOULD THINK ABOUT YOU A LITTLE MORE.ALSO IF HE ONLY THINKS OF HIMSELF...THEN TELL HIM MAYBE YOU AND HE ARE NOT COMPATIBLE.
