It hurts a lot when puppies are teething, by chewing things that pain goes away buy it a chew toy, one of those bones that are good for it's teeth. After the teething proces the chewing will stop. If you catch your pup chewing something you don't want it to chew firmly say NO. A little tap on the nose also send a clear message.

All puppies love to chew on things. Especially when they are theething! Buy him/her lots of chew toys. And if you do catch him/her chewing on something you don't want chewed, firmly say NO and take it away.
You can also try the bitter apple spray. But that does not always work..mine loved to lick that stuff. But it may work for you puppy!

Take them away from the object saying no, and set them in a different spot with their chew toys and praise them when they chew on the right thing.

We had the same problem. Nothing worked until we got this sour apple spray from the pet store. When we sprayed it on things it made them taste bad and the dog no longer wanted them. It worked great.

he is teething so he needs to be given things he is allowed to chew on when he chews on things he isn't suppose to give a firm no and give him what he is allowed to chew on.
I also suggest crate training as you can't reprimand anything you don't see so when you aren't around he shouldn't be allowed to run free.
it also helps with potty training.

its probably itching to bite stuff, so keep all hazardous items out of reach and buy some chew toys for your pup and it will have more fun playing with toys than with your household items.

When you see your dog chewing on things, say "NO" or "BAD DOG" loudly! When your dog stops, then praise your dog and give your dog a treat.
