I doubt they will let you do it. You can call the courthouse and ask them, but I doubt it.

In order to get a marriage license either:
1. One has never been married.
2. One is widowed and must show a death certificate.
3. One is divorced and must show a divorce decree.

I doubt they will give you one, even if you want it for the spouse to whom you are presently married.

Do as Mspoptart said . . . Make your own pretty certificate for framing. (That would cost less too!)

You can buy or create a decorative marriage certificate. That's all you need to do. If you are already married, you would not be granted a marriage license... there is no need for one. You get the license for the county and state in which you are going to be married.

I would just photoshop the orginal. Shrink it down a little and add a nice border, print on heavy cardstock and frame that.

Keep the original in a file cabnient for legal purposes....I can't speak to the legality of getting a second licnese but it definately sounds like something they wouldn't allow.

No. You can't have two licenses.

I'm sure it looks just fine, just find a great looking frame to doll it up!
