do nothing. Its not the end of the world. just a wrong number
the number doesn't have enough digits to be a US number. It maybe from another country.
maybe thats why you can't dial it. you'll need country codes that aren't listen on that "calls thing".
although I think international calls usually come from other countries and hit a VOIP state side then send the call to you (the VOIP should have a legit 10 digit number)
I show no 981 area code in the US

if it wasnt a real number, it was a prank. I saw this webite where u could record a message and put in the number to call and it would call the number and play back the message.u would also put the number it would show on caller id, etc. maybe that!

Just write down exactly what happened and the number. It was probably innocent and in a few days you can throw that piece of paper out.

call the police right away, somebody might have been kidnapped in the back of a trunk and is being driven across country and the only thing they have to communicate is a cell phone they found that was low on battery and they were in the dark so couldn't see what # they were dialing so they just pushed buttons and happened to dial you then the battery died and now they're depending on you to save their life, you never know.

Just ignore it. I sometimes get random calls, where people just hang up. Some people in this world have nothing better to do with their lives. Don't worry about it

It's the devil from hell!
no just kidding, it's either telemarketer or someone from a foreign country who wants to talk to their relative but dialed the wrong number. They usually hang up right away to avoid being charge for an extra minute.

You should probably just ignore it. I bet someone just called it by accident that's why no one was talking directly into the phone.

It was probably a prank. Some websites allow you to do prank phone calls and even do them for you. Like www.monkeydoo.com
