if you hadn't been to Catholic church for about 100 years, then yeah I'd say things probably have changed a little since then - like they are more tolerant about sex without marriage these days... but if you say you hadn't been for only about 7 or 8 years, then no I don't think much has changed.

Things will likely be much as you remembered them. There may be rather slight variations within individual parishes, but generally, it's the same Mass. I hope you enjoy the service.

Why do you care if anything has changed or do you have ideas of going back to them. I haven't had anything to do with them in over 20 years, and I have no concern if it has changed or not. Maybe my break is permanent then yours.
