No, but you can have a thirst for it that drives you to persue truth. If you find the truth, you must test and verify to know it is the truth.

We are encouraged to be like the Beroeans, who had some apostles of Jesus speaking to them personally, "with greatest eagarness of mind went examining the scriptures to see whether these things were true." (Acts 17:11)

When I was a child my Dad made biscuits and passed them out to me and my brothers and sister. He gave me too many and I knew it (he did not have a good education) and I took a bite out of every one he gave. When he saw he did not give them out even he went to fix the problem and saw he had a bigger one. I was greedy. I knew it and he knew it. Oddly enough this is one time he did not beat the daylights out of me! He did worse. He made me eat every one that I had taken a bite out of while my siblings watched me. It changed my life forever and I can hardly think about it with out the shame coming back to me. I cannot stand greed or selfish behavior. I always make sure everyone has enough even if I do without.
