When you're telling me about the CITIES IN CALIFORNIA explain to me:
How are the schools, incomes, taxes, jobs, apartments, life and people. Is the city expensive?

generally, the concepts of 'high paying' and 'affordable' do not go together. if an area has high salaries, then it is also expensive, and vice versa if it is has low salaries (that means it is cheap to live there), so you won't find what you're looking for that way. almost nothing in California is affordable, so you should start with safe, and maybe, pretty, and go for there. also just look for a good job market. you want to be able to pay your bills when you get there.
