well. the doctor told my grandmother that lung cancer is the type of cancer that will come back within two years. she did radiation and chemo also, and she was a smoker. she got it september 04 and went into remmison many months after that. then in march 06 she was told that the cancer came back and by then it had spread to her spine. april 15, during my twin cousin and my birthday my grandmother took a downfall for the worst and was sent ot the hospital. a month and a half later (may 30) her lungs filled with fluids and she past away. i thinks your odds of survival will be higher if you dont smoke.

look to your mum's track record which should give you hope, being small and dectected early gives you more than a fighting chance, with radiation and chemo you should be fine, if the dr's had any doubts about anything they would let you know. your sisters had spread so i am guessing that her cancer was dectected later. talk to the cancer institute there in america I saw a post with an online address. try not to worry too much if you can help it, talk to people about this within your family,
Hope this helps Goodluck

My husband was diagnosed March 20th 2006. He thought he hurt his back at work. That was his only symptom. He went thru radiation chemo gamma knife procedure and took a drug called tarceva. It is very expensive but it has had good results. Sadly my love passed June 6th 2006. By the time we found out it had spread thru out his body. ASK ABOUT THE TARCEVA IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE gOOD LUCK TO YOU
