These are the problems I have. If God is omniscient, why did he create humans at all, knowing he would just drown them and burn them forever? Why give people free will if that would just end up with so much suffering? Then, seven generations after the creation, he says he regretted making people at all, because they're wicked. He knew they would be wicked, so why regret it? If it was all part of a plan to drown the people, then the people have no free will. They are just puppets acting out God's plan. Finally, after the flood, he acts regretful. None of it adds up.

Since God is omnipotent - He can't have regrets. I should note that God at times speaks in a way what we understand (called anthropopathia), however this should not be confused with human regret.

More information that points to the idea that God is not infallible (not by any means proof that he doesn't exist though. Sorry atheists).

God did foresee original sin. That is why Jesus was provided as a redemption for sin.♥

--GOD IS in control of time & space:
(Isaiah 40:26) “. . .Raise YOUR eyes high up and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who is bringing forth the army of them even by number, all of whom he calls even by name. Due to the abundance of dynamic energy, he also being vigorous in power, not one [of them] is missing.”
--THIS IS IN REFERENCE to the celestial bodies in all the universe, thus with his "abundance of dynamic energy" is totally in control of even time!
--THE CONTROL of the heavenly bodies and their being held in their fixed positions also had to do with power & timing as MOSES EXPRESSED about God's control of all forces:
(Job 38:31-32) “31 Can you tie fast the bonds of the Ki′mah constellation, Or can you loosen the very cords of the Ke′sil constellation? 32 Can you bring forth the Maz′za·roth constellation in its APPOINTED TIME?"(my caps)
(Job 38:32-33) “. . .And as for the Ash constellation alongside its sons, can you conduct them? 33 Have you come to know the statutes of the heavens, Or could you put its authority in the earth?”

AS TO REGRETTING , God is not a man to regret, giving us free will!
(Numbers 23:19) “19 God is not a man that he should tell lies, Neither a son of mankind that he should FEEL REGRET. Has he himself said it and will he not do it, And has he spoken and will he not carry it out?”
--THE REGRET WAS how evil men CHOSE to be!--Thus having to end an evil world!
--THEY INDEED did not have to be that evil it was a sickly diabolical CHOICE AND utterly stupid!
(Judges 2:17-19) “. . .And even to their judges they did not listen, but they had immoral intercourse with other gods and went bowing down to them. They quickly turned aside from the way in which their forefathers had walked by obeying the commandments of Jehovah. They did not do like that. 18 And when Jehovah did raise up judges for them, Jehovah proved to be with the judge, and he saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for Jehovah would FEEL REGRET(my caps) over their groaning because of their oppressors and those who were shoving them around. 19 And it occurred that when the judge died they would turn around and act more ruinously than their fathers by walking after other gods to serve them and bow down to them. They did not refrain from their practices and their stubborn behavior.. . .”
