I think it is a very simple tattoo as most first timers go for. I did simple for my first one as well. You just never know what to expect no matter what everyone may say. However, I don't think you should hide a meaningful tattoo. Maybe change the location. I have a small one on the inside of my wrist just under my palm(yes it did hurt) and on my ankle. I do agree that you should add something to it whether hearts, stars, or some other little detail with color.Take a copy of what you are wanting to an artist you trust and know their work and have them trace it and draw some add-ons to it and then place it on different body areas and see what looks best and works for you. A tattoo that same size shouldn't be too painful and should be pretty quick unless you get it done larger.Good Luck!!

I think if you like it then you should get it. I'm a gemini too and I looked into getting a zodiac tattoo but I find that one too plain. I was think of getting one of the more elaborate gemini tattoos that actually shows the twins, but its up to you...whatever makes you happy.

Thats hot its original and i love that it means something and has a story behind it. shoulder blade is cool why dont u ask them to put the stencil on the back of ur neck to see how u like it there i think that would look cute too the design looks clean and simple maybe shading instead of all solid black ? its cute though good luck

It sounds like you are trying to remember your twin very sweet, I have a tattoo on my right shoulder and it hurt like hell! but get it anyways just take some one with you to hold there hand. My husband has scars on his hand when I got my tattoo!

It would look cool as an inner wrist tattoo, maybe have them outline it with black, and shade lightly with your favorite color. Otherwise its just too plain. It just seems more of a wrist, or base of neck tattoo than a shoulder blade one, but its your tattoo, so do what you want with it! :-)

very cool! Go for it!
It's so nice to see people getting tats that really mean something personal. (not just a fairy or a cartoon charachter off the wall cause it is popular)

I think it's a cool idea. Maybe you can find a way to jazz it up a bit, though. Either way, I like it and the idea.

It's simple but meaningful. I like it.

If you have a favorite color, maybe you could have it filled with color instead of black. I wouldn't do much more, though. Simple can be good.
