I'm basically looking for a fruity mixed drink, type of alcohol is not particularly important.

PLANTERS PUNCH
2 oz. orange juice
2 oz. pineapple juice
2 oz. lime juice (sweetened)
1 1/4 oz. white rum
1 1/4 oz. amber rum
1 1/4 oz. Myers Jamaican rum (heavy toddy)
1 tsp. grenadine
Mix ingredients and shake. Pour into glass filled with ice. Add 1 tablespoon grenadine and top with 1 1/4 ounces Myers rum.

DO NOT MIX a rum as good as Captain Morgan with anything!!! That is a rum to be enjoyed straight!

A vodka and lemonade is good and it is made up of exactly what it sounds like.
Rum and coke is especially delicious, if you buy flavored white rum, like Bacardi O (Orange) or Limon.
If you're looking for something sweeter, a Chocolate City is FANTASTIC. It's made up of banana liquer, vanilla vodka, Kahlua and Bailey's and mixed together, it tastes like heaven.
