When you told your family you were pregnant? Had you been to your MD already? I had a miss at 5 weeks but im seeing family from out of state at 6 weeks now.

I told my family around 10 -11 weeks the first time & around 8-10 weeks the 2nd time (after seeing Dr. both times)

I was 15 when I got pregnant with my twin sons so I kind of freaked out and waited awhile to tell my family (almost three months), I kinda had to tell them when I started showing so early. With my two year old girl I told them within a week of finding out myself. The next one I ended having a miscarriage so when I had my second daughter I waited almost four months (until I knew I was relatively safe from losing her) and with my new baby I also told my family right away - with him I had to because I found out when I fainted coming out of a 7-11 and everyone wanted to know why I was brought to the hospital in an ambulance.

If you're comfortable, then tell them...it doesn't matter how far along you are. I was a week along when I started telling people. I read a good rule of thumb regarding this issue. The rule went something like...telling people early is ok, as long as they would be the people you would confide in if something went wrong. I decided that would be my whole family, so I was secure in telling them. I had one miss at 9 weeks some years ago, and everyone knew. It was ok. Congrats!!!

I firmly believe in not allowing fear to overshadow your joy. Though I had 2 miscarriages, I told my whole family the same day that I found out with both my now 2 year old and the baby I am currently pregnant with. I figure, if something does go wrong, I'm going to need their love and support anyway.
Being pregnant is too awesome to hide--don't let fear take over!

I told close family the week I found out, but told them not to tell anyone else until I'm 4 months.

I waited until I was 3 mo on my third because I had told everyone about my second really early and had a mc good luck

With my first I waited four months and made sure I was half way across the country before I told my mom ( i was scared of her and I shouldn't have been). With my twins I told her as soon as I found out and with this I told everyone as soon as I found out.

a told close family as soon as i found out where as family there arnt that close and some friends i didnt tell them till it was confirmed by doctors now am 33weeks with a boy
