for really cool cake pans, go to wiltoncakes.com they have all sorts of pans, and instructions for different ways of decorating them. and they also have accesories to go with each. you'll want to look at the novelty cakes.

You can also go with a theme of a colour or thing that she likes. A mom I knew whose little girl likes pink got pink wigs for the kids and EVERYTHING was pink. The kids loved it.
For a 2 year old, fun stuff like bubbles and water toys are perfect. You could even have a beach party! Good Luck!

I did a princess theme for my daughters 3rd b-day party. The girls got wands to take home and the boys got fake swords for favors. We played pin the crown on the princess and had a Princess Barbie cake. Good luck!

she's only 2 have the family over and mabye 1 or 2 of her friends.u can also have her favorite meal and dessert

What's her favorite cartoon? You could do a b'day party based on her fav cartoon character.

do a themed party kids get a kick out of them. For ex. if she likes blues clues get blues clues plates,cups and napkins. My nephew had this for his 2nd and loved it. we made homemade decorations. we took construction paper and made all the characters from the show. we hung them all on the living room wall. We made the clues with the blue paper and taped them up all over the house. we played pin the flag on mail box.
