If that's the reason... I understand why not many people have me as a contact... ;)

I accepted the invitation to add this contact because answering the questions and reading other answers is helping me to learn and really understand more about my faith and beliefs.
It is the only contact I have.....or am interested in having at this stage.....as I don't have the time to answer more questions than I am at the moment, they do require a lot of thought and verse readine etc.
and NO! I don't always agree with what people say, but then thats the whole purpose isn't it, to learn and grow......

A little bit of both. Some of my contacts are family and some are good friends, then some like yourself happen to ask some of the Best questions out there when it comes to an area of interests that I have.....God Bless...

I add contacts of all beliefs and non-beliefs, friend or foe, interesting or witty and sometimes sarcastic. I guess I just base it on their knowledge, how they express their opinions and maybe cuz they just gave me a good laugh.
I don't always agree with them, but I'm not going to discriminate them. I don't think life is about the good, the bad and the ugly.
I also give stars..........not only to some great questions, but also to the pathetic ones..............

If I add them for the sake of adding it is because I have agreed with what they have said on a certain number of question usually.
I will also add if someone adds me, but even then I always check their Q&A to se what they stand for before I add them.

Quite honestly, I usually add contacts because they have added me. I guess I just started to do so. My reasons may change as time goes on. Initially this was my first thought when you asked this question.
Oh by the way, I find some of your q's & a's lingering in my mind at other times of the day.........thought provoking you have been.........

Not really as some of the people that are on my contact list are just nutty. Not mentioning any names, *cough* *sandstorm* *cough*. I usually just add people cause they added me first. However, when I do add them first, it's because I do agree with most of their answers.

I don't add contacts.
If I ever decide to, then it wouldn't necessarily be because I agree with what they say and do. Maybe I would just think they are interesting people.

Holy mackeral, I added one guy who was interested in buying a welsh terrier, but then his next three questions were about white girls with big booties, and being p*ssy whipped. So I deleted him. So, I guess you're right, common interests are kind of necessary when you're adding someone to your contact list.

Only when I get the email where someone is asking to added, I will check their profile and decide then. No, I am old enough and growed-up enough that is someone doesn't agree with me, that is their choice, it doesn't bother me.
