I just saw a commercial on tv for mobile. The premise was that they drove this jeep around the world. They even showed the path on a map. Is there actually a road where you can do that, or just a commercial?

Yes, North America to South America, Africa to Central asia, europe to China, None of these are easy trips. But... It is possible. You can't actually drive accross the Atlantic but the commercial is pretty accurate.

America to Eurasia will be impossible unless you do it in winter across the pole. And Eurasia to Australia is impossible as Australia is surrounded by water as is the south pole, the rest of the word is physically possible, although there are political problems in some regions.
Russia is not fond of adventures and the middle east and northern Africa and middle America are not the most stable areas.

You can drive between North and South America, you can also drive Africa, Europe, Russia and Asia but you CANNOT drive to Antarctica or Australia and you CANNOT drive from North or South America to Africa, Europe, Russia or Asia as they are not connected by a land mass.

Hope this helps!

When people "drive" around the world - they drive on land then put the vehicle on a ship or airplane when they have to go over water!!!!! Get real.

It may be possible with a vehicle that can pilot on water as well as drive on land but other than that, no.

it rather is possible and that i think of it rather is risk-free. My grandparents did it some years in the past... Their very final trip spot replaced into Greece in spite of the incontrovertible fact that. Get your ecu visa and pass on your trip. it would be exciting!
