It isn't good for them. As with most very unhealthy things, some larger breeds can take a TASTE of it without too many penalties, but its best not to tempt fate at all. Dogs and cats don't have the digestion to handle most dairy products. Goat milk or puppy milk sold in pet stores is okay, but if there is not a need to, I wouldn't suggest it.
And, just so you know, it would be BOTH ends of the dog you might be cleaning up after. ;)

Not really, most dogs and cats are not able to digest cows milk and will either puke it up or have loose stool. I have known people to give just a small amount of low fat or no fat milk and not have a problem. There is not a nutritional need for cow's milk in the diet of a puppy or a dog.

Yes, it's good for the dog, and it gives them the same vitamins as us and this has been proven.
You all put three thumbs down, and plus guess what people, my brother is a veterinarian , and I got this information from him. He said that all the vitamins from Milk, would benefit the dog, just the way it would a human. Although he said not to over do it too much, but he said if a dog did drink milk there wouldn't be any harm and actually would do the dog some benefit.
Not to mention I studied it on google and got the same information.
Thanks.

PetEducation.com says that dogs and cats don't have certain enzymes to break down the sugar in the milk. But if your dog can tolerate it, small amounts r ok. Dog and cat milk is also sold...

No I used to give my dog milk despite being told constantly that he would get worms. Sure enough, he got worms. Oh and if you think cleaning up puke is bad. Uh uh. When he does his toilet the worms are still alive!

DO NOT DO THIS! Trust me, the collodiqual structure of the milk spells H-E-L-L for your dogs stomach. Stick with water. Nothing else. Except sometimes the Vet prescribes VitaWater. NO MILK.

No, dogs are lactose intolerant. But you could give him some goat milk. They love that and it's very easy for them to break down the protiens in it. Good for their coat too.
