It depends on the hamster. I once had a female that birthed a litter of 14 babies, but I think that is pretty rare.
My guess would be 7.
P.S.- Do not handle the babies or she may eat them.

well it kinda depends on the type of hamster it is. a golden hamster is also know as a syrian. so I'm guessing somewhere between 4-12. and yes some hamster do eat there young but if born outside the nest, u may expect the worst.
