lets say,u get call for a job interview and u told them yes u can come,but then on the day for the interview u called them and want to reschedule the interview,will that decreases ur chances of getting the job?

most definetely as they will see you negatively. Not punctual, not reliable, dont arrive at scheduled time. Dont do that. Unless it is super emergency.

If you can't get to your interview on time, they will realize that you are going to have "attendance issues" and will pass you by. Trust me. I do the hiring for a business, and we don't invest anymore time with someone who calls to 'reschedule'. There are many more people in line behind you that don't have any trouble getting to work and are more dependable. Very bad way to start off with a company.

Unless it was some type of emergency they will look at it like the job is not really important to you. Even if you rescheduled unless because of the above condition, you are most likely not going to get it.
