I brought my chihuahua to the vet and they said she had an ear infection and when I brought her back two weeks later they said that the infection was mostly gone but she had a fever. We recently cleaned her ears with alcohol and put in the ear drops because she still had a bit of an infetion but now she keeps shaking and going into my closet. What's going on with her?

Ead infections can lead your dog to having seizures, like they say, VET, NOW!

please email me at kathy_ decaprio@ yahoo.com
this can be quite serious and i need to get more info.please explain exactly what you mean by little fits.
I will be on for a short time and then back on at about 6. In teh meantime this will not hurt her if you have karo syrup put a teaspoon to a pint of water and use as drinking water.
if not honey will work. also if she is having what I think you are calling a fit put either karo syrup or honey in her mouth.

Glad to hear the infecton is gone. But it seems like those dogs do shake some, maybe try to keep her warm. Show her lots of attention and baby her for awhile, maybe she has some pain. She'll be okay soon.

She may be going into seizures. Get her to a vet right away.

I would first take her to another vet, I would say there is still something wrong with her. Did they do any blood work on her?
