While I agree with most of the content of the previous answers, I think something is a bit off in each of them. There is nothing you can do with the bulk of the 600 - but for a select few there are some options like Unsharp Masking that can improve on what you have. The reason I say few is because of the "try this, try that" approach needed because it will work better with some photos depending on detail and content. Enlarging as described will work better with some than others (keep the original, save changes under revised name) For example, pictures with areas of color will enlarge better than those with lots of detail - like trees and flowers.
Interestingly, you might try printing some of them and then scanning (or photographing) them at a higher resolution. The printing will blur/merge the pixels naturally and rescanning will put extra pixels in, perhaps better than the built in resolution changing software will.
I would NOT recommend going to "the highest resolution possible", because, depending on your camera, that is going to produce massive image files (16MB each on my camera) but you do need to take pictures at different resolutions and learn the results. I take pictures at SVGA level and cut them to 50% or 33% width/height for web use and e-mailing, yet, I sometimes switch to bigger. SVGA gives me over 500 pictures in a 128MB card averaging about 174KB per image which is about 10x14" at screen resolution (72 pixels per inch)

You can use Photoshop or similar software to resize them. It uses an algorithm that puts extra pixels in based on the surrounding pixels.
It is not as good as if you did it right in the first place but at least you can print a bigger print that looks like something. :)

unfortuantely no. with the resoluion set so low there is not enogh pixel information to resize without terrible pixelation. any resizing or upping the resolution will not help because there's just no information there to work with.

You can re-size to an extent, but not enough to get "quality" 4x6, or larger. You might get "passable" 4x6's.
