Would it make you happy if an Atheist or Agnostic 'joined' your religion ...... started believeing ... accepting Jesus .....following the Bible ....? Do you want us to learn and listen to you?

If yes, then can I suggest that when an Atheist or Agnostic asks a simple question, even one that seems that the answer is obvious, even a 'drink' question .... that you dont answer with a snobby-sarcastic-bit*chy attitude?

Some dont know EVERY detail and want to learn.

When the question isnt sarcastic and bit*chy, please dont answer with that attitude, deal?

Yeah I will second that and like to add:
Don't assume "baiting" when someone asks an off the wall question like lets say "has anyone ever found Goliath's tomb"
Some people are just curious in nature.

Jesus wrote on the ground and then he said those without sin cast the first stone. The woman was caught in adultry and the law of moses said she was to be stoned...Yet they all walked away starting with the old to the young. Jesus got up and said is there anyone left to accuse you? Then I do not accuse you go in peace but sin no more. John 8:27.

Please do not believe everyone who claims to be a Christian, is in fact a Christian. There are many people on these boards who pose as Christians in order to give Christianity a bad reputation. I would also like to add that there are immature Christians and mature Christians. We still maintain our personalities and some of us have anger problems, or suffer from impatience, low self esteem, guilt, worldly desires and lusts-etc. Christianity is a life long process, commiting ourselves to Christ Jesus and growing from argumentative, immature Christians, into gentle, loving, caring Christians. Everyone has their own personality and everyone grows spiritually at different speeds. Being a Christian does not mean we are perfect or better than anyone else, we have our shortcomings just like the rest of the world. The only difference is we acknowledge our shortcomings (Sin) and we look to Christ Jesus for forgiveness. Some grow and develop faster than others. Gods plan is different for each and every one of us and His timing is different as well. Mostly what I see on these boards is non-christians, posing as Christians, in order to give Christianity a bad reputation. Look to Christ Jesus and put your faith and trust in Him alone. God Bless You...Peace.

I tend to answer in the same tone as the one used by the person asking the question. I see no reason to show respect for the views of those who show nothing but disdain for mine.

And even then, I generally try to give the person the benefit of the doubt.

Alot of us don't answer with a snarky attitude like you suggest. How come when Christians ask a question, you atheists always tell us to stop worshipping a fake non-existant God?

What kind of "Christians" have you been around? Good grief!!! We are SUPPOSED to be loving, patient, kind, sincere, and understanding of the fact that WE don't understand everything, let alone those who haven't given God or the Bible much thought at all.

A true Christian WELCOMES seekers into his or her bosom and should try to lovingly answer their questions.

So, all I can say to you is ... please don't judge all Christians by a few who blew it badly AND might not even be Christians. Deal? :-)

If the question isn't disguised as an ignorant assumption or merely for baiting purposes, I see no problem in answering without sarcasm. Otherwise,......

After they finish answering your question, you open up your bible to Galatians 5:22 and read it out loud to them cause apparently their fruit is stale.
