I have two dwarf hamsters and 1 guinea pig right now! Well, guinea pigs needs to be let out longer then hamsters do. They also need to go to the vet more then a hamster needs to. Guinea pigs are the only animals that really need Vitamin C. They NEED Vitamin C. If they don't get it, they could get VERY sick. Please read up on ginea pigs before adopting one (or two). I hope that this helps!

They are completely different animals of course, with much different needs. While hamsters are generally solitary, guinea pigs do best in pairs (or more). They need Vitamin C added to their diets, which is best done by providing daily veggies and fruit. They need unlimited hay. They require a much bigger cage, obviously, so more cleaning (and they are pooping machines!).
I'd also have to say they'll require more vet care. There just seem to be more medical issues with guineas compared to hamsters. And most importantly, guinea pigs live on the average 5 to 7 years, much more than a hamster's 2. However, I do believe you can 'bond' better with a guinea pig than you can with a hammie.
Please do plenty of research before you make a decison. And consider adoption rather than buying from a pet-mill supporting petstore!

guinea pigs have a different diet than hamsters, you need to make sure they get vitamin c in their diets and fresh fruits and veggies. They also may require more attention than a hamster. Also should exercise them.

I would say harder but more involved for guinea pigs. You have to do more grooming.

I have each a Leopard gecko and a Bearded Dragon, at the side of an African Fat Tail gecko, and many others. Geckos are relatively functional to handle, at the same time Bearded Dragons require extra care, a giant form in meals, occasional bathing, and many others. It's now not as convenient as a few folks like to place it. Bearded Dragons don't get as giant as Iguanas or Monitors; best variety approximately 18-24 inches. My four yr historic feminine is approximately 20 inches. Please be certain you study plenty plenty plenty earlier than you get one. Research lots then provide an explanation for on your moms and dads you're constructive you'll handle this sort of animal. Like I mentioned, they are now not as convenient as a few say; they're slightly extra problematic than geckos.

Well i think hamsters are easier because they are bigger and are constantly eating! I would do some research on both of them so you know the responsibility of both of them! Or you can go to the pet store and ask which one is more work! Good luck!
